Very amazed with this app. The interface is unlike the other chord applications. Chords are easily changed from three categories. Plus you can hear the notes as you virtually strum!
At last a chord dictionary that shows the names of the notes that make up the chord. Well done.
This app is great. I am new with guitar and it has helped me out alot!! :) I recommend it to anyone!
gr8 app. very worth it
Just one thing, since the new update I find the notes distort a bit when stummed together. It would also be nice to save favorite chords to a favorites section.
Great app, very useful huge library, good use of touch interface, you can strum the chord! (how about an acoustic guitar sound too?) it would be neat to have a "whats this chord?" feature where you select the notes and it finds the closest match.
This is THE app to get if you want a guitar chord library on your iPhone and, hey, its only $1.99. Dont waste your time trying to save a buck or two with the free or $0.99 apps. I just took an hour of my life doing that - its not worth it - just get this one, its great. No, I dont work for the author!! I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement: 1. To select a chord variant, the "swipe wheel method is great but even better would be to add the following that if the target variant is visible, you can select it just by tapping it (which would then automatically center it), instead of having to swipe it that last little distance. It feels like thats the natural way for it to work. 2. When you select a new chord it always resets itself back down to the first position. It would be more helpful if it went to a position somewhere near the last chord you selected because thats the shape youre most likely to want to use. Even better would be for it to have some intelligence that shows you the best next shape based on how easy it is to get to it from the last one.
It is a very well made app, really good. The only option that I wish it had - "what is this chord". Very often you find a nice sounding chord and wondering what chord is this. So I dont have to run Logic to figure out what the chord I have got going.
Very Happy! A++++
Since the latest Mac upgrade, it has no sound and my email to tech support goes unanswered.
New update and still no sound, horrible service
I used to love this app- it would let you play one string at a time, or strum the chord you had selected. Now theres no audio output whatsoever. So- whats the point? A chord book would do everything this app now does- and it would be easier to use!
No audio, please fix ASAP Kind of pointless if there is no audio.
iPhone 4 OS whatever is todays
Sound not working. IOS 6, Iphone 5
Why is this app. Still in the. Store. ?? No. Sound !! Tech support web site no longer exist !! There should be a refund button. If app and developer has this type behavior !! Its been what now ? 6 months app is defective. And it still is. ..........
The old version of this and Scalemaster were much better, in too many ways to list here. I would provide direct feedback to the company if I could, but the in-app support link is broken.
Thank you very much for quick response for iOS4. I had found it soon after having written my previous comment. ----- Prevous my comment ----------- Chordmaster cant excute on the iOS4. Pleaes apply it for iOS4 ASAP.
Handy app, but no Retina support :(
